DBT Auckland specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and offers one on one individual treatment and group therapy programs run by trained professional staff. 

The center offers confidential and effective mental health care programs for those experiencing symptoms of “on the go” lifestyles, such as anxiety, stress, depression, impulsive behaviour, relationship problems and more. We follow a scientific approach using the latest methods that studies show are the most effective. This includes Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

DBT Auckland does not provide psychiatric inpatient, addiction or detox services.

 

 

Our range of programs includes

Therapy - Individualized and group programs tailored to meet your needs and to fit a busy schedule with evenings and weekends available.

Retreats - Single person residential retreats offering understanding of the four domains of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Personal Interaction Skills. 

Follow-ups - Personal or group development in 6 hourly sessions or twelve-week closed life-skills programs.
 

All programs include

  • Free introductory session.
  • Comprehensive assessment and personalized treatment planning on admission.
  • Psychotherapy in a one-hour session weekly or as arranged with therapist.
  • CBT, DBT, ACT with licensed therapist specialist.

Referrals

We accept self-referrals, referrals from your General Practitioner, family members, relatives or friends. Call us, or fill in the form.
